Mimi Tran is an incredible teacher. And it’s only because it’s apparent to me and probably to everyone around her how much she cares about her students and the education that they want to receive.
In addition to previously teaching elementary school, she is now teaching middle school to offer herself a new challenge in life. And yet, she continues to try to broaden her educational network by working on side projects outside of school helping to improve the structure of education in San Diego.
Public education needs a lot of help, and I’m glad people like her will continue to use her passion and heart for making the world a better place to do so. Maybe one day she’ll be a great mentor one day to teachers all over the world, even if she happens to be in France come September.
I have no doubt that whatever she does, she will continue to be an inspiration to her students and us all. Happy teacher appreciation week to her and all great teachers all over the world today.
