Day 102: Karen Saturday’s The Best Boss

In a visit to my former workplace (Fairmont Private Schools), I was able to visit the best boss anyone could have ever worked for.

I’m glad she’s doing well, and hope she continues to be a good mother to her two sons, even though she’s never personally taken them herself to Phil’s BBQ. Blasphemy.

Though not much has changed in terms of the workload, she still remains an essential employee of Fairmont, whose day to day operations would probably fail if she wasn’t as the helm.

In the end, sometimes people just have the ability to recognize and foresee what is ultimately going to happen. Karen was able to easily discern when her husband in college left her, that he would come running back. And running back he did, and now they are happily married. Though I am quite jealous, I am happy she was able to find success in a department I am still struggling in.

Here’s hoping I have the opportunity to maybe work at Fairmont again this summer, even though all my friends have left that workplace – just to work for the best boss ever once more.
