My sole purpose in life is to absorb ultraviolet rays to prevent my owner from getting skin cancer of the eye variety.
As a subsequent result, I have to endure very often staring at everything my owner looks at. Today, this included:
1) a nice view of the beach while tilted down. He must have been laying down cause I saw his bare naked legs.
2) a walking tour of some mall. Some purchases were made, and there were nice little galleries along the way. Not sure how useful I was indoors. Probably made my owner look like an idiot.
3) some rather delicious pot pie with the whole family.
4) the banyan tree, a huge tree everyone goes to in Hawaii for some reason. To me it’s nothing special but to my owner it reminded him of when he was little and used to talk to trees in elementary school since he had no friends.
5) a perfect rainbow. As rain dripped on my lens I’m glad the sun helped radiate its beauty.
6) a luau. When nighttime came my owner placed me on a dirty table. In addition to seeing belly dancers, I witnessed my owner spill a ton of salt on his plate when his daddy forgot to put the lid on the shaker tightly. What a joke.
I’d like to think that I served tremendous purposes today, and so long as my owner never loses or breaks me I’ll be back with him for a series of new adventures for the upcoming years.
