Today, I went back to work. Instead of dealing with overly emotional pre-teens, I had to deal with overly emotional adults. We took an emotional intelligence test and found out none of us have the ability to appropriately cope with our emotions. Which of course is great since we work with the most insecure children of all, middle school students.
I did take something nice from the lesson though, in that we must always look for the funny in everything, and should laugh at everything when possible. I circled it below.

Later, we went to an Escape Room and failed to escape. Shows how smart we must be if we can’t escape a room. “Trass” will forever haunt me (which was supposed to be unscrambled and spell out Stars”.

I ended the night grocery shopping for the week and preparing for tomorrow’s lesson. The kids come back tomorrow, which will be…. wonderful… but mostly chaotic.
