January 2016 Updates

The first month of 2016 is officially over! That being said, I enjoyed 4 weeks of a fitness challenge that will conclude halfway through February (just in time for President’s Day weekend).

The month included spending time with friends, family, and of course myself everyday. Running and walking the track at USC gave me more time to be introspective than ever before.

Weekdays entailed working (teaching), and of course walking. I’m working on classroom management right now to ensure students behave in all of my classes. They tend to do better in Technology than History mostly due to the age differences (6th graders are more easily impressionable than say… 8th graders).

Weekends entailed going home to Garden Grove. Which begs the question: If I’m going to end up spending so much time there, I might as well live there. I just might next year and commute all the way to Los Angeles. That remains to be decided though, because I don’t know if I can commit to waking up so early and having to drive so much. The pros obviously would include saving money and not living to live in Los Angeles.

Next month’s focus shall be finishing out the Fitbit Challenge and starting the Wedding Planning challenge.
