It’s Spring Break, which means all the songs this week will pertain to me enjoying my week off, most importantly the celebration of being “young”.
The city of Chicago is beautiful. I got to see it from one of the highest views up at the John Hancock building today.

In addition, I got to try two delicious establishments, M Burger and Al’s Italian Beef. YUM.

In addition, we walked nearly 14,000 steps in exploring the Magnificent Mile (the Water Tower Place shopping center), as well as Millennium Park, and the often snapshotted “Bean”.

Chicago now ranks very highly (along with Portland) as one of the best cities I have ever visited. This is in contrast to cities in Iowa and Nevada I have seen and encountered. Even though the weather is cold, the city is very alive, still relatively young, and beautiful. If the city were to ask me, “Will you still love me when I’m no longer young and beautiful?” The answer would be a resounding…. yes. Yes I will.
Will you still love me when I’m no longer young and beautiful
Will you still love me when I got nothing but my aching soul
I know you will, I know you will
I know that you will
