This song is dedicated to my ex, who very obviously chose to use the “fade” method to end a relationship.
When people move on and don’t have the guts to tell you, it kind of translates to how dishonest they are about everything.
In this case, it’s been pretty well documented how much of a pathological liar she was about everything, but in the end I know I have won because I can ultimately do better. Have fun with your drugs.
It’s too bad though. Too many people treat dating and relationships like they’re trying on shoes. When you have something that fits, why go for something else? Curiosity? Boredom? I guess the grass always look greener on the other side.
In other news I helped out at the Cram’s Valentine’s Day dance where me and the soccer team sold glowsticks for 2 dollars a pop. When the dance was almost over and half the glowsticks were still there they started being sold for $1 each. Unfortunately we did not make much of a profit…. I guess I could do better, in terms of fundraising.
The only thing more awkward than a dance is a middle school dance.
