Sometimes all it takes is a really good book to keep your mind occupied for a day.
I went to a Buddhism 101 meeting, which taught me a chant I can use to improve my life from within: “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo.” I’m going to try chanting it for 5 minutes a day to see if anything happens. It’s not going to hurt. Even if it doesn’t worth, it’s worth meditating to take my mind off things sometimes.

I would like to clarify about my previous post that the song is not at all related to my ex. I do think that because of the amount of music that is out there, there will be days where I choose love songs that don’t necessarily really relate to any one person in particular. I would like to place an emphasis on not really caring, and trying to move on by the title of this post.
Anyway, I consumed a pre-superbowl pizza today from Papa John’s, seeing as I’m most likely not going to watch the overrated spectacle on television tomorrow. I really don’t care about football.
Seeing as I had no commitments today, I started reading Gone Girl, a book written by Gillian Flynn. Having seen the movie I was excited at seeing the perspective of the wife as written in her diary entries.

I didn’t fall asleep reading which was nice.

The boy always loses the girl. I don’t really care. If anything the book proved to me that marriage probably is a bad idea in the long run (if my divorced co-workers didn’t do so already).
But even if the stars and moon collide
I never want you back into my life
You can take your words and all your lies
Oh oh oh I really don’t care
