When I was a kid, television consumed a majority of my time. Sadly, it has no longer been the case now that I’ve almost reached adulthood. Nevertheless, here are my top 10 favorite television shows of all time.
10. Andor. I don’t really like Star Wars and I really like this show due to its political messages.

9. The Simpsons

I watched this show in syndication almost every single day when I was a kid. And though the show has declined in quality ever since Season 6 (even more so, Season 10), I still remain a loyal viewer. I absolutely loved the movie regardless, and still watch some reruns from time to time (for nostalgia purposes).

8. The O.C.

Season 1 was absolutely perfect in my eyes. The rest of the series? Not so much. I do love Taylor Townsend though.

7. Death Note

Remains my favorite anime ever due to its dark themes.

6. Cobra Kai

A great continuation to the Karate Kid, which was arguably a subpar movie. But characters are likeable, plot is ridiculous, and it’s essentially a real-life anime with power levels.

5. Glee

This show remains on my list due to nostalgia reasons. It really is a terrible show. Season 1 I would say is pretty good, and Season 6 actually ends the show in a decent way. The rest is questionable, but I watch mostly for the music anyway.

4. House of the Dragon

I actually preferred this show much more to Game of Thrones. A much simpler plot with less characters. Given the way Game of Thrones ended, I hope this show doesn’t go down that route of rushing the ending.

3. Black Mirror

A dark and cynical look into the future. Very bleak version of the Twilight Zone. Though the show has deteriorated in quality from season to season, it is still a powerful example of anthology story-telling.

2. Breaking Bad

I love how consistent the writing, acting, and drama is in this show. It ended on a high note and didn’t deterioate like most television shows.

1. 24

This show will almost remain my number 1. Jack Bauer is the most quintessential hero and I love him because of everything he has done for AMERICA. The character development he has had throughout the eight seasons help to exemplify his character. The suspense and consistent plot twists throughout the entire series will always push it to be first in my book. Here’s to hoping the movie eventually gets made.

  1. Simpsons isn’t terrible now. Just not the same. But still not terrible. I feel like Avatar should be higher on your list. Such a quality show. Never knew you liked Arthur that much either.

And come on. The must watch episode of Glee is TOTALLY Asian F. Best episode ever.
