Kai’s First Train Ride

In his second annual trip to the pumpkin patch, Kai got the opportunity to experience his first train ride. I thought the train ride would be short like a Disney ride, but it ended up being 15 minutes, and quite a fun leisurely stroll with narration, with some history embedded. Delicious. We paid for 2 tickets, and I opted to not go on the train, but somehow got on. I guess they didn’t verify Kai’s age, which we probably won’t get away with in the future.

At least this year, Kai didn’t fall asleep in the photos. He was still grumpy though.

He’s too busy being a cool guy to care for pumpkin patches.

When he’s older, I imagine he’ll want to experience some more kid activities at Irvine Railroad (and subsequently higher costs). Till then, it’s just forced photos with mommy and daddy.

Cheers to us for getting the obligatory pumpkin patch photos out of the way. Next weekend and next month, it’s no longer free entry.
