Ahh… the Sunday before the return to work. And thus, a much needed “adjustment” back to the routine of every day life.
Sorry Kai, you’ll now have to adapt to staying at Grandma’s for the week and having continued fun adventures on the weekends.
Bummer, but it’s not like he didn’t miss it. At Grandma’s today, he was willingly and joyfully playing in his mini playpen, obviously missing the toys that he didn’t see for a whole week.
Routines are in the end good for babies, even if they become mundane for a while. Until summer Kai – your adventures with dad will just have to wait.
