If Hitler was murdered as a baby, would the world be different? I imagine due to the conditions in the Weimar Republic prior to WW1, some other dictator would have ultimately rose to power. But the butterfly effect would have ultimately resulted in some changes. We don’t know what would have happened.
5 Years ago, I foresaw myself eventually being married and of course having a family. I never knew how difficult it would be. But it is either getting easier, or we are getting better at it. Fingers crossed we can keep up the good pace. Glad to survive the newborn trenches. As Kai gets older and older, he is showing more personality, which makes him even better to interact with on a daily basis.
Which is why I’m grateful to have met Katherine. Without her, Kai wouldn’t exist. Without Anime Expo, Katherine and I wouldn’t have crossed paths. And without UCSD and joining ICRA, I would not have met the people that ultimately encouraged me to volunteer. So in the end, UCLA’s rejection was ultimately a good thing. Crazy how the choices we make in life take us to where we’re meant to be.
