Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform that makes it easy to create, share and play learning games or trivia quizzes in minutes. I used to use Kahoot a lot more in my classroom, especially prior to reviewing for tests. Over the years I have transitioned into using Blooket, which is essentially Kahoot on steroids.

Kids got a little too excited, and I got a little too annoyed having to wait for them to quiet down to read questions. Luckily with Blooket, students can read the questions on their own, and simultaneously review the questions so many times they are familiar with the answers. This seemed to help them on history tests. I’ll probably go back to using Blooket in the future whenever I go back to history.

That being said, Kahoot! was quite a hit on my wedding in February… even though I probably should have gotten the subscription version because it limited the amount of players that could play at a time. Oops. The winner received a $20 AMC gift card, which was re-gifted after winning at a white elephant gift exchange.
