The number 408 weaves a tapestry of significance through different chapters of my life.
During my college days, it was Suite 408 that became the epicenter of friendships, as my suitemates and I congregated there the most. Remarkably, the bonds forged in those halls have faded into the past, and I no longer keep in touch with any of my former suitemates.
Presently, at Dale Junior High, 408 is the room I share with the ever-amiable Ms. Chavez. This space serves as her domain for teaching 7th-grade SDC classes and mine for 8th-grade SDC classes. Although not officially ‘my classroom,’ it is brimming with a personality reflective of both our interests, predominantly characterized by Pokemon-themed decorations. Ms. Chavez’s easygoing nature allows me to be less meticulous about tidiness, and for that, I am grateful.
Intriguingly, the school’s landscape is dotted with room signs bearing the names of various educators. It’s worth noting that these signs owe their existence to the Builder’s Club, each a unique creation unto itself, with varying degrees of artistic merit.
