In June of 2019, at Excelsior’s graduation, I saw a fortune teller. Excelsior was a boarding school full of English learners I worked at for about 6 months. Quite possibly the funniest school I was ever employed at.
In memory, my fortune revealed 3 things that would be happening to me:
- I would be signing some kind of contract.
- Don’t be so quick to get into a relationship without being sure.
- Stop worrying about taking care of other people so much.
These all ended up being true in someway, but mostly because they’re so vague that they could probably appeal to everyone.
- I signed a contract with Equitas Academy 2.
- I was absolutely sure by August of 2019 that Katherine Pham was the one for me, and I never quite hesitated at the thought of being together.
- I guess this one is super vague…. but the best possible scenario I can apply it to was when I quit Equitas Academy 2, letting go of any care I had for any of the students. I cared about some of them, but knew it was best for my health to quit in that moment.
Anyway, not sure if fortune tellers are legit or not, or I found a way to make all their fortunes fit into my life timeline. Not sure I will need to see one ever again. Perhaps a couples fortune teller session would be fun.
