A Princess At Sea

It’s the only sea day on our cruise itinerary as we embark international waters for Juneau, Alaska.

So far, I keep finding myself comparing everything to our previous cruise on the Disney Magic. Disney has been virtually superior in every way, in terms of the food being more delicious, the entertainment being more entertaining (for example the bingo host today was terrible and tried too hard to be funny), and the general atmosphere more lively and more catered to my personal tastes.

A few pros for the Royal Princess though include way cheaper sailing rates (you get what you pay for!), less children aboard the ship, and a drink package that has allowed me to try many great drinks. My 4 favorites so far include the strawberry daiquiri, pina colada, bahama mama, and loco coco.

That being said, this is a once in a lifetime trip to Alaska, and probably the cheapest way to get there. I’m much more excited for the upcoming excursions and destination more so than the journey itself. Although any journey with Katherine is expected to be magic in and of itself.

As you can see in this picture I’m dreaming of a Disney cruise instead of where I’m at.
