Today was Kai’s first visit to his local library! In this case – the Westminster Library, a library I used to visit biweekly with my siblings growing up. A source of entertainment prior to the internet age…
Anyway, Kai didn’t really “participate” so to speak when the storytime and singing adventures started. But at least he was mesmerized by the whole process. I imagine he’ll participate more when he gets older and can actually talk and sing.
Afterwards, when he got to play with toys, that’s when his eyes lit up a bit more. Playing with fruits, baskets, cars, and anything he could get his hands on.
Though his interactions with other babies be limited, here’s hoping he can adequately fit in soon. Can’t have him be an outcast like his father in the future.
Later we had a fantastic time meeting up with mommy at lunch at Silk Thai. Not quite as good as Jumpa Thai I must say.
