The main trait of a pig is generosity.
I think I show generosity most often to my wife, my friends, and my students. Although there are occasions where I try to give back as much as possible to my parents for taking care of me over the years. In the end I imagine the generosity my parents have given to me I will give to others around me (and obviously eventually my children and future grand-children). Like a never ending loop of “Giving Trees”.
My parents instilled in me generosity most notably through hard work and acts of service. I hope to instill the sense of volunteerism and assistance of others to Kai.
That assistance of course as best represented by a pig, the key animal I consume at Phil’s BBQ. I must be fed a little ounce of generosity every time I consume it, because I have so much more to give the world.
