A Day Off with Kai

Had today off for Lincoln’s Birthday.

At the very beginning of his life, a “day off” with Kai often meant more work. Being a single parent is no joke. My winter break was no break.

Now, it’s definitely getting much easier, as I am pretty comfortable taking care of him independently. It’s more relaxing than before. It’s funny how practice makes you better at something. Too bad as he grows in and out of different phases there’s going to be new challenges that emerge. Hopefully he won’t develop an attitude of some sort.

Hopefully he’ll be as great as Lincoln someday and make it into the history books. If he doesn’t, it’s okay too, as long as he’s happy. Hopefully he doesn’t become President because it seems like most Presidents are corrupt in one way or another (in the Epstein files) or potentially “controlled opposition”. It’s really hard to tell with most politicians who is genuine or not. 2028 is going to be interesting because I can foresee the progressive wing and the moderate wings of the Democratic Party fighting it out.

I only hope in this world Kai will emerge as one of the “good guys”.
