One thing that was harder than usual today was driving, mostly due to the rain.
In the end, rain is a good thing. Not because Luke Bryan says so, but because it helped bring California out of a drought.
But also, rain reminds me of my favorite elementary school memories of indoor recess. Where I got to play boardgames.
As an adult, I enjoy playing more complicated boardgames like Dominion. But I realize sacrifices need to be made, because my time is primarily focusing on raising Kai.
I’d love to have a family game night when Kai is older and play my favorite boardgames with him as he continues to age (based on his skill level of course).
