As princess Elsa – unfortunately a door that was never completed due to lack of time.
One door was mostly meant to be funny with a picture of me as Jesus; I’m not sure people appreciated the joke.
I actually liked this door quite a bit because it matched the Snapchat theme of my classroom one year.
One door not pictured is one that my student tore down during the 2016-2017 school year during a door decoration contest, which triggered me in ways I have never been ever before. Ever since that point though, my anger has subsided and I have yet to ever exemplify such an interesting rage-induced version of myself.
Finally, the most recent door. Not done for a contest or any particular reason, other than to fill time during Saturday Academy today. Students were able to cut out the snowflakes and simultaneously glue the pictures of staff members on random ornaments to put on the door. It’s not meant to serve any other purpose than to potentially spread joy to whoever passes it on Monday morning.
Over the last 9 years of teaching, I have had many classrooms. As a result, many many doors, decorated by many of my students.
My first door decorated at Cram Middle school – much effort given to a Halloween-esque theme with some zombified historical figures.
This door was pretty low effort, and obviously lost a door decoration contest.
