Today I turned 33. It’s not that special of an occasion. With old age comes wrinkly hair , increased health issues, and potential heart problems.

I’m grateful after 33 years for all the friends I’ve encountered and kept in contact with. It was a pleasure to enjoy trip 208 with many of them today.

I’m hopeful that with old age comes more visits to Phil’s bbq. At my eventual funeral they will sprinkle my ashes over Phil’s bbq ribs and serve it to all of the attendees.

Speaking of Phil’s bbq, many of the friends I went with rated it quite lowly on a scale of 1-10. I imagine this was mostly due to the peer pressure of an aggressive alpha Korean asking them in front of the whole group.

I imagine their friendship is even better if they continue to go to Phil’s bbq with me in the future despite not liking it.

33. 1/3 of my life is officially over.
