We had a Nearpod training today after work. Nearpod is a digital learning tool teachers can use in their classroom. Our district pays for it, so I’ll probably try to incorporate it into my classroom in the future.
It’s pretty similar to Peardeck, which is a tool I used during the pandemic to teach special education students science and math. But anyway, I’m grateful that we have all the technology tools at our disposal to make learning more and more fun for our students.
Although, I prefer to use mostly pen and paper, I will equip myself with tools in my digital arsenal to make sure students are well-rounded and capable of enhanced skills in the future. Here’s to potentially 30 more years of teaching, but possibly administration as well. Who knows.
