The lottery is a tax on the poor.
The odds of winning the powerball are 1 in 292.2 million. Do I really think I’m that special? Not really.
However, my dad decided to give me some money and told me to buy some lottery tickets for both of us and so I promptly did. Joke’s on him, because if I win it’s my money!!!!
And so.. if I won the lottery, here are some things I would do:
a) buy a house for me and Katherine
b) invest some of the money in the stock market, so I have money for the future
c) buy an electric car
d) go on some more vacations… probably travel to every country on my bucket list (go on every single disney ship imaginable, and every disney theme park in the world)
e) give some money to the poor, as needed.
f) give some leftover money to my family members.
Would I quit my job? I’m not sure actually. I feel like I need some type of work to keep me busy or I’ll be bored. I would hate to be a statistic, and become a lottery winner that blow all their money within a few years. Perhaps I’ll start my own business with some leftover residue funds, or even open up my own school.
Needless to say, it’s probably not going to happen. But one can always dream.
