Here’s a photo of me volunteering at a Kiwanis family function, serving up delicious pancakes. It was a great experience being part of Circle K at Cal State Fullerton and contributing to the community as a volunteer.

During the year that I completed my prerequisites for my teaching credential program, I dedicated my time to this organization, and it was a fulfilling experience. However, I must admit that I was disappointed when I was rejected for the position of PR Chair despite having participated in all the service projects the year before and feeling more than qualified for the role.
Despite this setback, I remain grateful for the opportunities that were presented to me, and I am committed to doing my part in contributing to the Kiwanis family. I am particularly passionate about creating Builder’s Club wherever I go, which is the middle school version of Key Club/Circle K/Kiwanis.
Overall, volunteering with Kiwanis has been a valuable experience that has taught me the importance of community service and the impact that it can have on individuals and communities. I look forward to continuing my involvement with this organization and making a positive difference wherever I can.
