One of my favorite “bands” in high school was Yellowcard. Their most popular hit by far was Ocean Avenue, also the name of their most popular album.
Trying to profit off their nostalgic, they re-recorded an acoustic version of the entire album, which I had the opportunity to see them perform live at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney. My favorite song is One Year Six Months on that album.
Fun fact: The song is actually about Ocean Boulevard in Florida. What a scam. My childhood and teenage memories are all falling apart at the seams.
