Another one of our magical memories was Paint Nite, something that we happened to have now done together 6 times.

Going as “just friends”, Paint Nite 1 was on April 2019, where we drew elephants and I actually won a competition. We ate delicious Kaju shortly after, not knowing that would be one of our favorite restaurants in the future (We’ve gone there 25 times together).

Paint Nite 2 was September 2019 where we drew birds flying on top of a mountain. And thus started my losing streak in painting competitions.

Paint Nite 3 was in April 2021, after a lapse due to coronavirus, where we painted a luscious waterfall.

Paint Nite 4 was in February 2022, as a pre-Valentine date where we painted hearts and soul mates looking at one another, my female figure having extensively long hair.

Paint Nite 5 was after a long night of anxiety, followed by a surprise proposal in March 2022. Needless to say I was super tired by the time painting started, and so my painting was even worse then usual. But it was a scene of our proposal that happened at Lyons Lighthouse an hour prior.

Our most recent paint nite was in December 2022, where we painted Christmas trees.

I have no doubt due to the uniqueness of the experience, and the connection paint nites have to one of our first dates and our engagement, we will be painting more in the future. Which gives me more opportunities to continue losing to Katherine.

Upon marriage, we will painting a whole new set of adventures together.
