Neither of us are culinary experts by any means. Even though I binge watched all 21 seasons of Hell’s Kitchen, I still don’t have the culinary prowess I need in order to successfully survive in a kitchen. That being said, I was grateful to attend a cooking class at Sur La Table. We made many dishes, which included Pan-Roasted Chicken with Fine Herbs and Whole-Grain mustard sauce, Brown Butter Mashed Potatoes, Frisee Salad with Poached Eggs and Bacon Lardons, and French Vanilla Creme Brulee. Needless to say all of the dishes were delicious and cleansed my palate.

By far the best dish was the mashed potatoes – the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. I hope to use the recipe again in the future to try it myself. Try it yourself if you’d like.
