Flashback to 2018, where I did the hardest hike of my life. I was not wearing the right shoes, kept slipping, and potentially almost died. The leftover residue from the snow was wet, unbearable, and made everything super slippery. It was so hard that hiking downhill was just as hard as hiking uphill.
Yet, the view was worth it in the end.
In the end, life is full of uphill challenges that we have to confront on a daily basis. Such is the life of dealing with middle schoolers in an urban school environment.
