I won’t ever forget the kindness given to me by Saiedeh and her gentle sounding voice. Even though our paths will now diverge from one another, I wish her the best of luck at her new job opportunity, and hope she can continue to stay close to Salar and her family back home in Iran.
I hope she remembers that whenever she hears an ambulance from now on, she will pull over to the side of the road. Even though it’s different in her home country. And that one day, we can reunite as friends and share more memories together in the future. May God bless her with future trips to Phil’s BBQ and perhaps more visits in Orange County where I will be the rest of the year.
