It was a Saturday. I was minding my own business and had just left the newly built “Honey and Butter”, acquiring some delicious macaroons. Upon leaving the parking lot, I went ahead and backed out, and collided with another car. It was about the moment for my first ever “parking lot accident.”
Of course, this was my first accident in 4 years, and most definitely was not my fault. At roughly 3:30 in the Steelcraft parking lot, the young girl got out of her car, and seemed a little dazed and confused. She was wearing a Travis Scott T-shirt so seemed about the right demographic for not knowing what was going on. She said “Oh, it looks okay.”, not noticing the dent on both of our cars.

We quickly exchanged information, and I got her on the record eventually confessing to the misdeed, clearing me of any misdoing in the whole situation.

Though this was not nearly as exciting as the five previous total-loss accidents I’ve been the driver or passenger in in the past, it will forever mark as a memory in my heart of my first ever parking lot car accident. I’m grateful for surviving, and hope to fix Carla’s back bumper soon.
