Tommy Pham is the coolest Vietnamese person I have ever met in my life or even interacted with.
Most of the Vietnamese people I have encountered have been in my AP and honors classes in high school. And so they’re not that cool. They’re more nerdish than anything (which I actually think is cool but isn’t the textbook definition of cool).
In a way, he’s the opposite of me in his demeanor and the way he acts. He’s pretty chill about everything, has positive relationships with people, and was able to successfully get into a frat at SDSU (i failed at UCSD).
I wish him the best of luck in his final years at SDSU and hope he continues living the dream and partying hard.
