Day 25: Karishma Chauhan’s Indian Updates

Karishma Chauhan is one of the few Indians remaining in my life. And so, it is important to mention that she has fundamentally shaped my understanding of Indians in the world. They’re okay, I guess.

In my conversations with her via catch-up, I learned many things:

  1. At her new school she is very lonely and wished she had friends. It’s okay for now she knows how the outcasts of middle school feel every single day and can relate to their experiences.
  2. She enjoyed her trip to Canada, and touched the soothing snow in the process. How I wish I could chuck a snowball at her face every single day, but that’s only one of my Indian fantasies.
  3. She very much is still a Hindu and very much still a vegetarian. And even though I no longer believe in the concept of karma, she still does. Which is strange because she has a happy life while simultaneously has not given much back to the world…

In all seriousness, I hope she achieves all her dreams and continues being a great Indian, and probably my favorite female Indian at the moment, until I meet someone better. Good luck, and I’ll never forget Paint Night.
