Day 23: Diane Pyo’s Keys to a Successful Marriage

To Diane Pyo, the greatest teacher that I know – the keys to a successful marriage are simple. Find the right person. Obviously that is easier said than done but she did a decent job, for the one seemingly stable thing in her life right now is her marriage.

Since the very beginning I have recognized her work ethic and know she will in the end persevere through the struggles of being a first year teacher. Her grit and determination will guide her forward as she spreads her wings and fly into the English department lead position next year. Just kidding. Or am ?

Whatever the case us introverts need to stick together to ensure continued success in all endeavors as we deal with teaching the worst grade (but ironically enough the best cohort this year). I hope her stress is reduced and things get better overall. Even though we no longer eat lunch together, the brief lunch we had today was a pleasant reminder of the past.

For dinner I tried DineLA in the form of Malbec (Argentinian food) in Pasadena. It was good (4 stars), but I wouldn’t pay full price for anything on the menu.
