Every few months or so, me, Louise, and Henry have Skype/Google Hangouts/a Facetime session in order to catch up on our daily happenings in DC, Texas, and California.
Today was no exception, as we got some much needed highlights from her experience in our nation’s capital
- Work is going well, and I hope she continues to achieve her dreams on all fronts.
- Due to the continued government shutdown there is virtually no traffic in DC, which is a good thing for Louise (but obviously a bad thing for government employees)
- Public transportation apparently is much better over there, as she is carless.
- Self-improvement is the goal for 2019, and I hope she achieves it all through her increased efforts. Toastmasters seems to be a nice way for her to increase her public speaking practices.
I wish her the best of luck in 2019 and we’ll be in further communications soon as to how the rest of our year goes.
