In order to feed a starving colony of people, it takes much time and dedication. And sometimes service. Good thing I have an army of children at my footsteps willing to put in the extra work to help others on their day off from school.
In our latest Builder’s Club adventure, we helped meal prep for about 3000 meals that will go to many starving families in time for Easter. I do wish more people would engage in acts to help their local communities instead of insisting on government intervention programs to do the job.
What did meal prep entail of?
- Cutting Celery. In order to cut celery you must properly use a knife, making sure to of course not cut off any fingers in the process, otherwise the celery will taste quite bloody.

- Tearing Lettuce. In order to tear lettuce, you must rip the lettuce into a proper shape adequate for eating purposes.

- Slicing Turkey. To slice a turkey, you shred it open with a knife. To dice a turkey, you tear that garbage off.

- To make cornbread you mix cornbread mix together with some milk. Mix it all together and you get the best of both worlds.

- Of course, peeling potatoes might be the hardest job of all, requiring much upper muscle strength as you slice off the parts of the potato inadequate for human consumption and taste buds. Here’s a picture of me pretending to work.

Though we don’t get to see the final result of of work (starving families eating), I am grateful to have made the world a better place in my own way and hope everyone tries to do the same. Happy easter to everyone!
