Ray Bradbury’s short story The Last Night of the World is very interesting, and sets up its premise pretty early on. If you had only one night left to live (and knew the world was going to end, would you do things differently? In the case of the story, the husband and wife proceed on their daily routine and change virtually nothing.
I’m guessing if I was placed in the same situation I probably wouldn’t do things much differently. Maybe drive down to Phil’s for the best last meal imaginable though.
