4th Grade was interesting, and I was quite lonely for most of it. Because of the year prior, I didn’t have many friends. However, this is the year I attended the after-school program “Anaheim Achieves”. It was cool, cause I got so much more attention from my peers (who were nicer after school for some reason), as well as the program leader. I also remember fellow students voting me Class President, even though I never actually did anything with that title. All the girls voted for me – I guess I was nice to them, and they were nice back. I beat Alex, one of the Mexicans running against me. I think it was due to his own stupidity though. I remember his friend Louis running or something, and Alex voted for Louis.

Anyway, that program leader was great, cause she boosted my self esteem quite a bit. I accidentally ran into her car with a bike after someone chased me. I made a huge dent in her car, but luckily she didn’t press charges. I mean, who would?

I remember Saturday day morning cartoons, and when they used to have Fox Kids & Kids WB Weekdays back to back.
I remember Pokemon, Digimon, Animaniacs, Cardcaptors, and everything else they showed on tv. I watched the Simpsons DAILY. I had a crush on the main character from Cardcaptors, even though she was a cartoon character. TV was my escape, in a pre-internet age.
Halfway through the year, we moved from our 2-bedroom apartment into Stanton into our permanent house now located in Garden Grove. I would normally be dramatic and say that’s when everything changed, but it really didn’t. Not too drastically, at least.
Mission: Impossible 2 was the top grossing movie of the year, a movie I have never seen. Madonna’s “Music” was the number one song. It was good, I guess, but worthy of the #1 spot? Probably not.
