For the first time in my human existence, I encountered a flash flood warning sent to a massive array of different people at my nephew’s first birthday party.
Despite the flood interrupting many potential plans for the day (and the intense driving in the rain that could have otherwise resulted in a serious accident), I was able to successfully attend Jayden’s birthday party, where he was able to achieve good health, good fortune, and good money (Good thing he didn’t pick the beer bottle, otherwise he would have turned into a raging alcoholic).
Jayden will have to grow up in the era of Trump. Despite that, he will get to at least enjoy many more years of California being with plentiful rain and bounty. 
Jayden has brought the rain to California, and subsequently sunshine for much more decades to follow. Happy Birthday!
