When I think Summer, based on my last three summer experiences, I think of Fairmont, and the wonderful friends it has accumulated for me over the years. I had the pleasure of reuniting with many of them today, as the glorious light in the picture shined through the window by our former boss Karen Saturday.
We ate Ramen in Fullerton, which many of us thoroughly enjoyed, while others were clearly repulsed. Afterwards, we went to get piercings, where my friend chickened out. We went to Owl Cafe so they could get drinks. We planned future plans. And then we went back so my friend could face his fears, get his piercings, and finally become a man. I’m sure he was very happy in the process. Peer pressure really does work now that I think about it.
Afterwards, we got some Cha2O before departing one another. I love spending time with these folks, and am clearly falling in love with them just like I did in the summertime. (Even though it is now winter).
Afterwards, I had a lovely dinner at my brother-in-law’s place since I was conveniently in the area. He made me steak while I finalized some post-2015 plans.
I ended the day at my sister’s place eating chips, playing video games, and enjoying movies with my nieces and nephews. I plan on starting lesson planning tomorrow though, which will be time-consuming to say the very least.
