We celebrate all seasons in the sun with family. When I was a kid, we rarely celebrated any holidays, due to the poverty that we were entrenched in. As we got older, we had more luxuries and more abilities to provide traditional American celebrations.
We picked up some food at Boston Market and began prepping it for a couple of hours. Then, the feast began!

It took many years, but we finally had an American Thanksgiving filled with turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and some necessary pumpkin pie. And some Vietnamese delicacies as well in the form of Bun Bo Hue….

This was of course succeeded by a brief birthday celebration with my youngest niece (who now turned 3)!

We watched The Good Dinosaur, Pixar’s latest development – which wasn’t really that good, and was about some hillbilly Dinosaur farmers that needed to “find their Spot”.

I am pooped. The turkey has made me sleepy, but I’m not quite ready to give up on Black Friday shopping. Thank you Internet for all the free shipping and deals today!
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time
