This post is dedicated to the French, who deserve to heal today after the tragic events of yesterday. I’m hoping they continue to live their life despite everything.

When George W. Bush ruled the world, many people attested Coldplay’s song “Viva La Vida” to potentially being about his presidency. This was mostly due to his foreign policy and his interventions in the Middle East. Despite the campaign promises of Obama to end these said wars, he was unable to change the system – either due to the strength and power of the military-industrial complex or simply because he never really was going to. It looks like the next anointed one to be President – Hillary Clinton, will too continue the same meddling foreign policy that will create more instability in the Middle East (the same instability that led to the growth of ISIS). This is tragic. A true revolution would bring change to the world in which we live, and create a better system. It would create a life meant for everyone to enjoy, and give people real reasons to celebrate.
After a long day of planning, prepping, relaxing, and eating, I watched a bit of the Democratic Debate only to be disappointed. I proceeded to try the Halal Guys with friends, which was both good and bad.
The first few bites I would give 4 stars because it was pretty delicious. As I kept eating more and more of it though it grew very stale and my rating inevitably went down to 2 stars. The law of diminishing returns strikes again.

It was a good day overall for me though, and I’ll continue to live my live. I hope everyone in France continues to live theirs. France is America’s oldest ally, helping us in our Revolution right before we didn’t help them with theirs. Viva la Vida.
I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing
Roman cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can’t explain
I know St Peter won’t call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world
