Day 294: The Hoedown Throwdown

Billy Ray Cyrus, the one-hit wonder of yesterday’s post, just so happens to have fathered the downward spiral that once created this interesting country song.

If you throw everything together that I did today, I kind of did my own little hoedown moving around from place to place.

  1. I popped and locked myself some Japanese curry with my friend for lunch. It was delicious as usual (CoCo ICHIBANYA in Irvine), but a little too spicy for my taste. Hopefully I’m not regretting my decisions later in the bathroom.
  2. We put our hawk in the sky and traveled to Main Place Mall to check out Round 1, an arcade. It was fun, but I think I still prefer Dave and Buster’s for sure. We played Deal or No Deal and won…. 1 ticket.

  3. I jumped to the left to produce an “Instagram” poster for Rise’s upcoming Spooktacular (A halloween “carnival”).
  4. I crossed the floor to Seven Leaves to get some delicious Boba.
  5. I shuffled into Fairmont Private Schools to revisit former co-workers and of course my wonderful boss, who helped me cut my Instagram Poster.
  6. My Fairmont buddies went ahead and modeled with the Instagram Poster to see what it would look like. They just happened to display three emotions – Neutral, Angry, and Happy.

  7. Afterwards I shaked it out to a free movie screening at the Block (2 Days in a row YAY!). It happened to be Zoolander 2, which was okay. I can’t really talk about it though since I signed a Non-Disclosure agreement.

Throw it all together and you could say I had a wonderful day. 🙂

Pop it, lock it, polka-dot it
Countrify it then hip-hop it.
Put your hawk in the sky,
And move it side-to-side.
Jump to the left, stick it, glide.
Zig-zag, cross the floor
Shuffle in diagonal,
When the drum hits, hands on your hips.
One-footed, 180 twist.
Then a zig-zag, step slide
Lean it left, clap 3 times
Shake it out, head to toe
Throw it all together, that’s how we roll.
