Day 239: Wonder What You’re Doing for the Rest of your Life

Sometimes I get curious and wonder what the people who have passed me by are now doing for the rest of their life.

This includes former students, but most of all – former friends, especially the ones that have touched me at some point in my life.

Today I did the “Line Game” for students in my US History class, and though it probably wasn’t as dramatic as the Freedom Writers Clip provided below, it was still very poignant to see the class come together in the limited space we had. Their written reflections on it shows their appreciation of everyone in the class has grown, and I definitely feel like culture building was successful (this week’s main goal).

I think I want to tell you everything
I think I want to give it all tonight
I think I want to tell you everything
I wonder what you’re doing for the rest of your life
I wonder what you’re doing for the rest of your life
