Why wait for love when it’s right in front of you or seemingly close?!
Today, I got to hang out with some friends in K-Town (Korea-town) eating Japanese food – in the form of chicken katsu & curry. We then visited my classroom to hang up some numbers.

We then explored J-Town (Japanese Town), roaming around little Tokyo exploring the sights and sounds (which included beautiful nature, a magician, a live performance, a random Japanese festival and Asian snacks of course.

Back in Garden Grove of course I resumed my lesson planning… and ended up eating Korean BBQ at night with my sister and brother-in-law. My other future brother-in-law picked us up afterwards since my pregnant sister got cramps. Then I went home, played with my sister’s cat, played with my sisters (Hanabi), and prepped for Monday the rest of the night.
In summary, J food in K town, and K food in G town.
I’m burning like a wild fire on Saturday, but of course the week will start again tomorrow. And of course, school starts on Monday which will make it an altogether super exciting week to come.
Monday left me broken
Tuesday I was through with hoping
Wednesday my empty arms were open
Thursday waiting for love, waiting for love
Thank the stars it’s Friday
I’m burning like a fire gone wild on Saturday
Guess I won’t be coming to church on Sunday
I’ll be waiting for love, waiting for love
To come around
