Day 221: The A Team

It’s too cold outside for angels to fly as I make the descent back to Los Angeles for another lovely week of training. This time, Ed Sheeran’s songs will provide the soundtrack for my life.

For those stuck in the Class A Team in unfortunate situations in life, there is a glimmer of hope in their prospective futures. After my sister went through some of the random things in the garage we dropped off some “donations” to Goodwill today to hopefully help some of those people.

My sister then helped meal prep my lunches for the following week. Sausage and Peppers with Steamed Vegetables! We also went to a variety of stores today from Stater Brothers, the Vietnamese market, Pet Smart, Fresh Choice and Target.

Funny story. Outside of Target today, I made the statement out loud that “I was trying to eat healthy so instead of ordering Pizza from Pizza Hut, I ordered pasta instead. That’s healthy, right?!”. A homeless man interrupted our conversation to blatantly laugh at me as he said “Pasta’s not healthy! You might as well eat Top Ramen!”. I was embarrassed to be reprimanded and given great words of advice from that homeless man.

Angels will hope for a better life in Los Angeles tonight. Peace be with them.

And they say
She’s in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
‘Cause we’re just under the upper hand
And go mad for a couple grams
And she don’t want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It’s too cold outside
For angels to fly
An angel will die
Covered in white
Closed eye
And hoping for a better life
This time, we’ll fade out tonight
Straight down the line
