Day 210: Heroes and Thieves

One of my good friends is leaving for San Jose. forever. He was my first friend at Stanford Elementary and our friendship stood the trials of post-high school and post-college transitional stages in our lives. He will always be a hero in my life.

Speaking of heroes, the counselors in training at camp set up an amazing real-life version of Angry Birds, which the kids really seemed to enjoy today.

For our life “adventure” as my friend exits Orange County this weekend, we proceeded to go bowling. After being told of a 45 minute wait at Valley View, we decided to opt to eat the Habit instead.

We decided to end the night with Dave N Buster’s, playing the night away the following important games: trivia (which I’m terrible at), deal or no deal (which is all luck game), monopoly (my personal favorite), and racing (which I won). Goodbye friend. San Jose is truly a thief for stealing you away. However, I completely understand. Family is the most important thing next to friendship.

At the end of the day I’ll find more heroes and thieves to guide me through the rest of my life.

Heroes and Thieves at my door
I can’t seem to tell them apart anymore
Just when I’ve figured it out
Well darlin’ it’s you I’m without
