In revisiting Planet of the Apes, The Simpsons did the beast parody of the movie in their song “Dr. Zaius”.
I recently watched all the movies, and here is how I would rank all the movies in the series.
1. Planet of the Apes (1968): EXCELLENT.
2. Rise of the Planet of the Apes: Good
3. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: Good
4. Beneath the Planet of the Apes: Subpar
5. Escape from the Planet of the Apes: Subpar
6. Conquest of the Planet of the Apes: Subpar
7. Battle for the Planet of the Apes: Subpar
8. Planet of the Apes (2001 Tim Burton Version). = TERRIBLE
Today at work some of the Asian campers gave me a fan as a goodbye present. How sweet. And Asian ?
