My friend and I were going to Phil’s today to meet up with some people from yesterday’s wedding. However, tragedy quickly ensued in the form of yet another… car accident.
My friend drove, and I noticed a car changing into our lane (the far left lane on the freeway) without signaling. I quickly alerted my friend who had to slam his brakes, swerve around, as the car spun towards the other side of the freeway to the far right lane where it slammed into the wall. Immediately, the airbags went off, and injuries were minor. Luckily no cars were behind us on the freeway at the time, which would have resulted in us being t-boned to death. Unfortunately though, the car was totaled.

The car drove off after the accident, and there were no real witnesses, so liability sadly will fall on my friend as he tries to figure out what to do next.
In tragic moments like that, you can be annoyed easily. However, it is far better to remain optimistic that you survived. Being that this is my third accident, I have once again cheated death. I’m glad me and my friend are still alive in the process. This week’s music will be from the Simpsons to celebrate that optimism.
