Another school year done, and another milestone achieved. I will no longer be a first year teacher come next August.
It’s unfortunate I have to part with some of the good kids. I had the time of my life – I hope they did too.
After cleaning out my room, I celebrated the end of the year with a “last supper” at Metro Pizza with the best history department ever. We complained together, laughed together, and ate together. What a great combination.
Alas, the year is ending, and I subsequently packed up my things. After the final staff meeting and getting checked out tomorrow I’ll be well on my way back. To California!
